Vocabulary Assignment 1, Word list 1
Please use any three words from the wordlist that you've just studied, and write a short, scary paragraph of about five sentences on the theme of Halloween.
Using a Jack O'Lantern, I decided to use ome spooky tactics. I waved the J O'Lantern and the bats were hooked. All astir and fascinated, they began to eat the scurrying spiders in my room. Oh my god! What a weird thing to happen on Halloween Day?!
Nice use of vocabulary, Daniel! I guess you meant 'some' spooky tactics. Ok, now try writing a paragraph using some other words( at least 5) from word list 1. Post it, post-haste!
The witches were dancing around the dirty caldron. It emitted a dark and smelly smoke that went into the sky. They put the carcass of a black cat inside and the potion glinted. They were laughing in an evil way. I began to have shivers down my back... The next thing that had to go in the caldron was me ... !

The witch wields her pwer to catch the cat. She is about to drop the cat into the boiling caldron. The cat pleads to let her go promising her some treasure. Ther's a glint of coins. But the eitch drops the cat inside the caldron. The carcass of the cat emits a foul smell all over the place. Hey ! It's Halloween, so let your imagination free!
