the lesson which atticus often talked about to the children was also a lesson for me. people should try to understand others by putting them selves into their situations and looking at the problems from their point of view. for example, when the children hear the truth about boo radley, they realized that they should not judge someone without knowing that person'situation.
The lesson I learned from this book is the importance of the education. Atticus was a very wise father, compare to other men in the book. He spent his time to educate his children, Jem and Scout. Scout appeared to be an intelligent girl. She could read a book before she actually went to school. However, the children in poor family, Ewells and Cunninghams, couldn’t be educated. It was because they didn’t have enough money. Ewells got the money from the government to send his children to school, but he sent them only for the first day of the school, and uses all of other money for drinking. I thought it was very wrong for Ewells to not sending his children to school.
In my opinion, the most crucial lesson in this novel is that we should be fair and treat every person in the world equally although some people have different skin color from us. The reason is because there are different kind of people all over the world and there would often be conflicts and fights wherever we go if we do not know how to understand people just because they are different from us. For example, in the story, Bob Ewell calls Tom Robinson a "nigger" and gets him in a trouble by accusing him a terrible incident, just because Tom has a black skin color. However, Atticus tries to protect Tom Robinson although he is a black man. Moreover, Atticus gets insulted by Bob Ewell by being called a "nigger lover" when he tries to defend Tom Robinson. As you read in the book, there was so much racial discrimination back in 1930s. Still, there exists distinctive racial discrimination in our society. Therefore, we have to try to decrease the racial discrimination and make the world fair.
To my point of view, the most crucial lesson in this novel is understanding the racial discrimination. I know that there was much discrimination going on between whites and blacks at the time of 1930s also America was in Great Depression. It is not fare and right way to judge people by their appearance such as skin color. Furthermore, relating to noble, Bob Ewell calls Tom Robinson ‘Nigger’ and accuses him for raping his daughter. In fact it was not the real case that wasn’t supposed to be happened. Atticus tries to protect Tom Robinson however even the judge was a racist. Though Atticus gave a perfect example no body agreed to him. Still there are few people who discriminate each other in our society which is really ridiculous. We should educate those who discriminate in our society.
I think there are many conflicts between people and people, and people and society in the book. For example, Ewell and Atticus had a conflict because Tom Robinson is falsely accused of rape by Ewell. Also there are more conflicts in which people versus people such as between teacher and Scout. Moreover the conflicts between people and society is the most emphasized and tell the title "to kill a mocking bird" in the book. Conflicts of people and society are Atticus and society in which is covered by extreme racism. In the court, even though Tom Robinson said truth and it is verified by people, he is found guilty because of racism. By developing of the technology, the globalization is in progress and the racism decreased rapidly. However there are racism still in our life, society and the world. We would strive to distribution people by just skin color.
Finally.... I could get access to Internet.... However...
By seeing the novel "To kill a mockingbird", I could know the discrimination by people's skin color that was held when the novel was made. Also this discrimination is not yet perfectly disappeared. Reading this, I learned that I should not judge people or discriminate people by people's skin color or how they look like. Also I felt that Atticus's aspect of father is great. Because he never be angry to his children and tried to teach them as many things as possible.
The most important lesson in this novel, " To Kill A Mockingbird " was the tollerance of skin colors. Or in other words, the significance of fair and equal world for everyone. Atticus who insists equality, bravely steps up to defend the 'negro' or black person, Tom Robinson. This wrecked his reputation and many others called him nigger lover. However, in my opinion, Atticus was the benchmark for brave and fair lawyer. He even risked his own life to save Tom from a crime that he's never committed. That spirit of justice really fascinated me and also made me think again of what the fair and equal world is. And the real fair, equal world is the world without descrimination, prejudice but full of tollerance and justice. I hope someday in future, that world would come to reality so that we can make the earth a better place to live.
One of the most significant impacts To Kill a Mocking bird is Atticus Finch's model of integrity for the legal profession. He has become a folk hero in legal circles and is treated almost as if he were an actual person. If you see Atticus roles you will be amazed what he have done to the people, he maintain his morally ambiguous and does not use his legal skills to challenge the racist status quo in Maycomb. And in my point of views I think that Atticus is such a brave man and coolest person ever. I wont forget him even if i grew up as he took many risks in his life fighting for Tom Robinson. The present world is full of discrimination and if we have a person like Atticus to sort all these problems i will be some much happy what I am.
